40422 loads up in Manchester whilst working, so I am assured by the photographer and the location of the stop on Oldham Street, a peak hour 82 to Uppermill. It's difficult to understand why no route number is shown and not helpful given the close proximity of the 184 stop (a bus that goes a very different way to Uppermill).
