409 was the only one of this batch of Crossley-bodied PD2s to actually run for SELNEC. This shot is in very early SELNEC days as the bus has SELNEC legal lettering but still has the small Oldham coat-of-arms on the grille. The story of this batch can be found with the picture of 410 in the 153 collection.
